We're hosting Cooper's Fun Run for 2021

At Indie Coffee Roasters, we’re all about coffee and community and we love and opportunity to give back.  We will be hosting a Cooper’s Fun Run at our Carmel coffee shop on Friday, May 7, bright and early at 6am.

What is Cooper’s Fun Run?

First things first, what is Cooper’s Fun Run?  Cooper’s Fun Run is an organization that focuses on giving back to non-profit public organizations that focus on some of our society’s most pressing issues: homelessness, animal rescue, and children’s education and well-being. Cooper’s Fun Run gives active people the opportunity to connect with local businesses and charitable causes through fun, non-competitive 3-mile run / walk events and welcomes people of all paces and abilities to their events.

100% of all donations collected from participants and 10% of proceeds from Cooper’s Fun Run merch at the event go directly to benefit a pre-selected non-profit organization. For the May 7th event, that’s Girls on the Run.

More about Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run is a national nonprofit organization with a central Indiana chapter. Girls on the Run gives girls in grades 3 through 8 an after-school program that helps to boost their confidence, teach them about health and fitness, and inspire them to chase after their dreams. The program often trains up its own coaches who love what they learned as participants and want to return to share that knowledge with the next generation of girls. They also organize their own 5k run as part of the program. 

At Indie Coffee Roasters, we’re also offering a special signature drink this season–The Scoob–and all proceeds from the sale of that beverage will be donated to Girls on the Run.
