Get involved with Indy Humane

At Indie Coffee Roasters, giving back to our community is so important to us that it's literally one of our company values. Each quarter in 2021, we've committed to working with a different community partner to support their mission and raise funds to help them toward their goals. For the summer quarter, we're thrilled to be working with Indy Humane. 

We love so much about Indy Humane, from their vision that all central Indiana animals should be treated with dignity and respect and live free from cruelty, harm, and neglect...to their mission to improve animal welfare, promote human animal bonds, and ensure the health and well-being of animals in their care. This pillar institution in Indy has been proudly saving lives since 1905!

How can you help?

Indy Humane has a lot of great programs that allow people to get involved. Their biggest fundraising event of the year, MuttStrutt, takes place on October 23 at Victory Field. Learn more and register for the event here.

If you're strapped for time and want to make a donation instead of participating in an event (or in addition to an event if you're really dedicated!) Indy Humane is currently looking for people who will actively donate on a monthly basis to help save more lives. You can learn more on their website. 

Indie Coffee Roasters + Indy Humane

At our Carmel coffee shop, our menu this quarter features a very special signature drink, the Pineapple Espress. This drink was lovingly created by our coffee department for the "espress" purpose of supporting Indy Humane. At the end of the quarter, all proceeds from the sale of this drink will go to support Indy Humane. 

We are also happy to announce that Indy Humane will be visiting our shop on Saturday, August 7 from about 9am-noon, bringing some adoptable pets with them! You can visit with these four-legged friends on our patio that day and enjoy our speciality drink to support Indy Humane directly. Will you be there?
