Tasting Notes: Strawberry Lemonade, Passion Fruit, Raspberry, Chocolate
Process: Fruit juice anaerobic wash, a process that involves a double fermentation of the cherries and then the green beans for a total of 160 hours
About the Beans: Our Anniversary Exclusive Coffee is a limited edition black-label coffee that we’re offering just for the celebration of our 7 years of roasting coffee. This coffee was never meant to come to the U.S. at all, but due to global rerouting caused by the pandemic, it ended up in our hands. This is the most unique and rare coffee we’ve had the privilege of roasting for you.
Our Anniversary Exclusive Coffee comes from the Finca Monteblanco farm in the Huila region of Southern Columbia. It was processed using a very unusual method: a fruit juice anaerobic wash. This is a process of fermenting the cherries followed by re-fermenting the green coffee beans for over 160 hours overall, releasing incredibly unique flavors with tasting notes of strawberry lemonade, passion fruit, raspberry, and chocolate.
